Maxim at Home’s easy to use platform provides assistance with socialization, light housekeeping, meal preparation, pet care and more – alleviating stress on families and allowing clients to live life on their terms.

By empowering communities through awareness and compassionate support, the MAH movement strives to fight social isolation and break the stigma of receiving help at home.

Maxim at Home does not accept insurance or Medicare. Our Companion services are paid privately through our secured, third-party credit card processing system.

They are compassionate people from all walks of life and age ranges. Most of them are already caring for their own family. To you, they are like an on-call family friend.

Merriam-Webster defines “Family Friend” as:  a person who has known and spent time with one’s family.

Maxim at Home companions are like Family Friends because when we spend time with our clients we genuinely want to get to “know” who they are as a person. You can think of our companions as relationship builders that also help with household tasks and provide transportation when needed.

So think of each companion as your on-call family friend ready to provide that little bit of help a family might need.

 

Yes!  A valuable benefit of Maxim at Home Companions versus Independent Contractors is the peace of mind you have knowing that every single Maxim at Home Companion is an employee of Maxim at Home and as employees, they are fully insured. 

Yes, just one hour.

One aspect of our mission is to provide our clients with the flexibility of scheduling the help they need exactly when and where they need it.  Even if it’s just one hour.

Our scheduling system allows you to book one or more hours as needed.

Our low hourly rates are all-inclusive, which covers liability insurance, fees for processing applicable IRS tax paperwork, and the time and cost associated with intensive companion screening.

Our rates change before 6 a.m. and after 6 p.m. with different rates for weekends and holidays. View our “best value” rates, and evening/weekend rates.

Yes, our Companions can be scheduled for an overnight shift.

Absolutely, our platform allows you to post jobs 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. We do recommend to post your job request as early as possible to help ensure a high percentage of responses in a timely fashion.
