Companionship

You can make a true difference in someone’s day, simply by spending quality time with them, hanging out, playing a game or going for a stroll.

  • Socialization: Make a new connection
  • Activities: Put together a puzzle or play board/card games
  • Hobbies: Gardening, DIY projects, and crafts
  • Entertainment: Watch movies or TV and listen to music

Household tasks

Provide compassionate assistance with everyday tasks, such as light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, meal prep, pet care and more.

  • Meal prep: Nutrition and hydration
  • Light housekeeping: Cleaning dishes, dusting, cleaning, vacuuming, sweeping, and removing trash
  • Laundry: Washing, drying and folding
  • Organization: Tidying up main walkways, pantry, kitchen, and closet
  • Pet Care: Feeding the cat or dog, talking the dog for a walk

Trips around town

If approved to transport, you may help with grocery shopping or going with them during their daily errand runs, providing friendship and support.

  • Transporting or accompanying clients to medical appointments, or pharmacy, and waiting with them providing supportive friendship
  • Beauty care trips and salon appointments

  • Note: Driving assistance is dependent on passing the MAH driving approval process
